EACH ARCH OF THE CHURCH HAS A PAINTINGSOF ONE OF THE APOSTLES

Right side, from the altar to rear of church:
1. St. Peter - holding keys and book.
2. St. Matthias - holding book of Gospels and Scroll.
3. St. Bartholomew - holding open book of the Gospels.
4. St. Thomas-making profession of faith after expression of doubt concerning the appearance of Our Lord to the other Apostles.
5. St. James the Greater – holding pilgrim's staff signifying his journeys made in preaching the Gospel.
6. St. Jude - Great fisher of men.

Left side, from the altar to rear of church:
1. St. Paul - Apostle to the Gentiles, holding sword as the gladiator of Christ.
2. St. Matthew - writer of the first Gospel.
3. St. Philip - holding book of the Gospels.
4. St. Andrew –holding the pilgrim staff signifying his many journeys preaching the Gospel.
5. St. John – youngest of the Apostles, writer of the fourth Gospel and The Book of Revelation.
6. St. James the Less - holding the bishop's staff.
